Not long ago, Andamiro debuted the 'New Beginning' of PIU at the WPF2k6 finals. New Xenesis has nearly 200 songs, a brand new Beginner Station(easier than ever, and with lessons), a revised Special Station(for Anothers, Remixes, and full versions), World Tour mode, and some of the most completely insane stepcharts ever conceived.
NX has multiple language settings, which also affect World Tour mode. The language selected will be the language the game, and World Tour mode, is displayed in.
Each city conquered lets the conquerer put in his/her name, which stays on that city until that score gets beaten.
NX is already out in Mexico, choice locations in the US, and Korea. It's likely available everywhere by now.
Andamiro also designed a new cabinet for New Xenesis, affectionally dubbed as the "FX" cabinet, with a 30-inch plasma screen and a much thinner speaker tower.
Music is no longer sorted by channels. Instead, it's back to the old-school: 'one screen selection. One very long row of songs with the category listed at the top of the screen(i.e. a Kpop song will display 'Kpop Tunes' when selected). The song select timer is now much longer, also.
Background video preview is still intact. The disc image changes into the background video preview.
BanYa's hingepin member, Yahpp, recently set out on his own, so BanYa tunes now have two 'classifications': BanYa Productions(done by the rest of the crew), and Yahpp songs(done by Yahpp himself). In addition, there's a ton of new Kpop tracks, and (finally) a bunch of Pop songs as well.
